ROLE IN SETTING: Ernesto is a famous musician who is seemingly normal. However, about eleven years ago he acquired a contract with a being of some kind. He has heard (supposedly) that there is talent around Daybreak and he intends to invite people to work with him on his film. Daybreak Academy (some staff being charmed by him) will be taking him up on this as a means to strengthen the Veil of Secrecy. He would align himself against that of Nightfall, if it came into question.
AU BACKSTORY: Ernesto was born in Santa Cecilia, a few years before Héctor. He latched on to Héctor at a young age and the two became best friends. Ernesto used his charm on Héctor and many others, while Héctor taught Ernesto guitar and wrote songs for them both. They became a highly talented duo and not even Héctor's new family could get in the way of that, for a time. They began the tour they'd always dreamed of, however, Héctor became disenchanted with it part way through.
Feeling that he would not be able to make it on his own, Ernesto planned a way to take Héctor's songs for himself, should the time come that he'd need to. Whilst acquiring the poison he would later use, he came in contact with a being willing to make a deal with him. The being offered a means to hide the body, and furthermore, sway people to his side. Ernesto took the deal. Once he'd poisoned his friend, he began to drive him to the place the being had instructed-- where an opening to the Outlands would await. He buried Héctor there and left, not thinking anything more of it as he rose to fame.
GOALS: With photos of Héctor resurfacing on the internet and rumors swirling about, Ernesto believes it is time to go to the source of it all-- Daybreak academy. There, he can try and lay rumors to rest once and for all.
He intends, first of all, to find the truth of what is either a doppelganger or truly Héctor. He is suspicious that he was tricked by the being before. From there, he seeks to try and settle things in any way he can. He will use his power to charm as many people as he can in his favor. His charm is relatively powerful and is almost always working.
Furthermore, he has a film to shoot. There will be recruitment of talented individuals for all kinds of tasks such as creating sets, effects, even acting in part of the film (small parts, of course). It is believed it will add a special touch to the film, while also giving Daybreak yet more cover for what it is that's actually taught there.
POWERS: Ernesto has a contracted ability to charm. He has the ability of supernatural suggestion, able to influence favor, opinions, and feelings. He can make others trust him and making them feel listened to, adored even. There's a general aura of warmth around him that is difficult to deny. He can make people second guess any doubts they have toward him-- and in turn, doubt those who made them second-guess in the first place.

I've had to make some sacrifices in my life in order to reach my dream. It was hard. I cannot say there were no regrets. But, you see, when you have a dream, these are things that you have to keep in mind. Success does not come for free. I think that is true of any goal, be it acting on the big screen or... saving the world.
3. WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DO TO ACHIEVE THIS?
Of course, that is to say, I will do whatever it takes.
7. IF YOUR GOAL WERE TO BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
I don't believe that any goal is impossible. Some people don't have the drive or they feel that, to achieve their goals, the cost is too great. But I believe, if it's what your heart truly desires, then you cannot simply stop fighting for it.
